Improver Courses for Juniors
Oppie Improvers Stage 3
Morning courses: 9.30am - 12.30pm (x5 mornings)
Afternoon courses: 1.30pm - 4.30pm (x5 afternoons)
For the child who already has some experience of Oppie sailing and completed Stage 2, here is the ideal opportunity to consolidate skills and learn new techniques. As in the beginners course the emphasis is on fun and confidence building, with lots of games and many varied activities allowing for progression through the RYA scheme.
It is possible for those who wish to progress through the IOCA scheme to have items signed off as they progress. This could be particularly useful to members of the BSC Opi Club.

Please note
On all junior sailing courses, as an alternative activity, on days when there is little or no wind or if the wind is too strong to allow for safe sailing, improvised raft building, rowing or paddling games and treasure hunts will be offered.
